Richie sang with the Backwater Blues Band on a hot San Diego Saturday night in Vista CA. Sue and I I were out scouting bands for me to jam with and musicians for the Famous Hits stable in North County. The music scene is hot and heavy just like it was in the San Francisco Bay Area in the 80s. People are out watching and listening to music And buying drinks! Most gigs are early evening and at all ages venues (notice my biggest fan is the little girl in front). This blues band has 3 highly proficient players with a long song list of standard blues tunes and solid musicianship. Plus they are eager to rock with some of richiekihn's Beserkley Bay Area music.
