Due to a personal family tragedy, the CAMS, Calaveras Art and Music Show scheduled for Saturday January 20, 2024 will be canceled and postponed to a future date. The show was planned at the Murphys Creek Theatre. All presold tickets will be refunded.
When conferring with county officials, business leaders and music industry professionals, they all agree that these family matters have outweighed the privilege of producing an award presentation to our full capabilities for the benefit of the county’s art and culture.
The CAMS recognizes artists in all walks of the Arts with an annual award show that allows for networking and prestige. This year there were 74 nominations that would boil down to 49 awards. Those nominations will hold true for the postponed gala event. A step back will allow for our committees to re-form and reorganize. Our production is strong; yet, must giveaway to these family matters. The promise is to return stronger than ever. You can help.
