Leilani Villamor, a.k.a. Leilani Hollywood, our own local songbird who plays all the clubs and venues in the MotherLode area, has recently cut a deal with world-class internationally famous record producer, Narada Michael Walden, and is currently in Tarpan studios in Marin County recording her first hit single “Upside”.
Narada Michael Walden, who has been responsible for building the careers for the likes of Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, finds the same star like characteristics in Leilani and plans to release an EP by early summer. (EPs have 4 to 5 songs on them.)
“Leilani came in and performed like a champ for her first time under so much pressure. I think the world is ready for love from Leilani” said Walden.
Although she is slated to be in major Hollywood business meetings in April, she will still maintain her performance schedule and keep up her local volunteer work.
